Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Corn On The Cob. You are probably already familiar with elote, or “Mexican street corn”. It is that delicious corn the man on the street corner grills, then covers in a creamy sauce mixture and finishes off with lime and chili powder. It may sound crazy, but I’m telling you, it is amazing! And people can not get enough of it. Next time family and friends are gathered in the backyard for a summer BBQ, surprise your guest with this tasty Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Corn On The Cob.

This recipe takes classic Mexican street corn (elote) and gives it a twist by using Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in place of the chili powder. 

Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Corn On The Cob

How To Make Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Corn On The Cob at home.

Ingredients

  • Corn On The Cob ((Fresh Shucked))
  • Mayonnaise
  • 2 Limes
  • Flamming Hot Cheetos ((Crunchy Or Puffed))
  • Cilantro ((Fresh or Dried))

Instructions

  1. Cook your corn, I chose to boil mine but steamed or even grilled would work great!
  2. While your corn is cooking add Flaming Hot cheetos to your ziplock bag (remove the air from the bag) and crush with your rolling pin or meat mallet. Transfer to a dish or plate for easy coating.
  3. Slice your lime into small wedges
  4. Once your corn is cooked, roll or spread your mayonnaise onto your corn, cover well
  5. Roll your corn in your crushed Cheetos and again coat well.
  6. Transfer onto a serving plate, squeeze 1 to 2 lime wedges over corn, and top with fresh or dried cilantro
  7. Add an extra lime wedge to each plate and enjoy!

Helpful Tools Needed:


● Rolling pin or meat tenderizer
● Ziplock bag

This is such an easy recipe that you do not need to be exact when measuring ingredients. Add more or less ingredients for your own taste choices.
