Hedgehog Donut Hole Recipe. Looking for a fun party treat? This Hedgehog Donut Hole Recipe is the most adorable little donut holes you will ever see. This treat is not only Instagram-worthy, it’s also incredibly easy to make.

Hedgehog Donut Hole Recipe

These delightfully darling hedgehogs are filled with personality and are a simple, sweet treat to serve at your next party or celebration. The best part this is not technically a recipe but a quick donut decorating DIY. Even better, right?

Ingredients:

Donut Holes (we chose old fashioned/plain)

Chocolate frosting

Chocolate sprinkles

Shop The Ingredients

Instructions:

Dress the top end of your donut hole with chocolate frosting. You can simply dip it directly into the frosting or apply it with a butter knife for a more precise application. (We like to form a little “V” shape on the forehead)

Dip the frosted tip of your donut hole into the chocolate sprinkles.

Next, it’s time to add the face. Push in two sprinkles for the eyes and one for the nose. This is by far my favorite part, as it gives them personality.

Repeat for however many hedgehogs you need.

NOTE: Depending on the type of donut you choose to use, you may need to make “pilot holes” for the hedgehog’s facial features before inserting your sprinkles. For this, you may want to use a toothpick.
