No-Bake Peanut Butter Puff Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ cup smooth creamy peanut butter

1 cup room temperature butter

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla

6 cups of powdered sugar

1 bag of chocolate baking chips

1 teaspoon of Crisco

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.

Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl as needed.

Add vanilla, pinch of salt and mix for 30 seconds.

Add ½ of the powdered sugar and begin blending.

When the powdered sugar is completely incorporated add the other half and mix.

When the powdered sugar is completely blended, pop the mixing bowl into the fridge for an hour.

After one hour, use a small cookie scoop to form dough balls. Lay these on a clean and dry platter or cookie sheet.

Freeze for one hour as the dough will be very soft.

When it is nearly time to pull the puffs out of the freezer melt the chocolate baking chips and Crisco together using either a double boiler or the microwave.

Working fast, dip the bottom of each puff into the melted chocolate.

Place the puffs back on the cookie sheet or platter and freeze for another 15 minutes to set the chocolate (or place in the fridge for an hour).

Serve and enjoy

Note: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

I prefer to line my cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up

After you dip your puff in melting chocolate, you can also use decorating sprinkles to style your puffs for any holiday, birthday or celebration.
